Britain is finally soaking up some of that much needed sunshine. Recent weekends have not failed to disappoint, (although the Monday morning burn sure got a lot of laughs at work) as the sunshine has decided to finally make an appearance.
Last week, 12 commuters, including me, were huddled up on platform three at South Croydon train station, enjoying the slither of available sunshine. Commuters fighting for sunlight is the official sign of Summer.
Any opportunity to soak up some vitamin D and these people will take it... even if it means losing the 'train door spot.' (Yes, commuters are aware of where the train doors stop and open on the platform.) However, before I start shoving fellow commuters into the train tracks for much needed sunshine, I need to take a moment to say farewell to my favourite Winter trend - The Winter Florals.
It turns out, I am slightly obsessed with this tr end. I panicked somewhat after adding up how much I had spent on floral dresses this year - But it made the process of selecting my favourite looks all too easy.
Poor Danielle, the gorgeous model for these looks, was freezing her little tooshie off! But despite shivering models, Alicia Diaz-Benitez, the photographer for this shoot, managed to get some beautiful photo's.
Dedicated to my favourite trend... Winter florals - We salute you. Enjoy!

Dark floral prints were brightened up with spring's bold shades. I kept it classic with thick black tights and chunky boots. Adding a fedoras hat in one of winter's gorgeous berry shades made for floral perfection.
Toughen up fresh winter florals with a biker jacket and chunky jumper. Team with light chelsea boots for a pretty take on the trend.
The classic blazer was given an autumnal twist this winter. For those brave enough, I've teamed a crop top with a skater skirt and killer heels, for a cool clubbing outfit. This statement blazer will also work for those looking for a more mature approach. Keep it simple with cute trousers and a shirt.
Winter floral's got sophisticated. Delicate silk's were teamed beautifully with oriental style prints. Accessories were best kept simple for a classy take on the trend.
Floral print silks were not exclusive to the glamorous evening option. The weekend staple jumper met delicate floral silks for a chic and casual take on this trend. The beanie was a winter must-have, for the inevitable bad hair day, finishing off the casual look perfectly.
